Founded in 1996 by Thomas Pagel and Marcus Henn, the firm of pagelhenn architektinnenarchitekt joined the Baumschlager Eberle Architekten Group in December 2022. Located in the town of Hilden, the practice sits at the centre of a triangle formed by the cities of Düsseldorf, Cologne and Wuppertal, and close to Germany’s Ruhrgebiet. It specialises in the planning and construction of residential and municipal projects and renovation and conversion briefs.

Alongside public and private housing schemes, local authority projects (nurseries, schools, community centres, etc.) and office developments, we undertake restoration and extension works and have particular knowhow in interior design, control systems and furnishings. We also offer feasibility studies and provide services at all plan-of-work stages.

Our extensive experience, local knowledge of the North Rhine-Westphalia market and expertise in dealing with public-sector clients brings the group privileged access to a region rich in potential. 

The firm has grown steadily since its formation and current team comprises nine members of staff, all highly appreciative of the its attractive location, relaxed atmosphere and collaborative spirit.
