Having won several design competitions in France, we started thinking about opening a Paris office – in line with our “think global, act local” philosophy – in 2010, finally taking the plunge in 2012. Located in the centre of the Marais in the 3rd arrondissement, the office sits in the city’s oldest, most beautiful and most creative district – a bastion of contemporary art – and is surrounded by galleries. Here we appreciate daily the value that our increased understanding of French culture and the opportunity to talk directly to clients adds to our project development process. 

Our focus in Paris is on office buildings, housing and university facilities, in particular laboratories. We are the BEA Group’s leaders in the construction of large, wood-only buildings and positive energy structures for office use, including Green Office® Enjoy, Paris, and are currently working on designs for a 50m-high residential tower constructed out of wood.
We offer a full range of architectural services including detailed planning and construction management as well as the development of signage and guidance concepts and interior design projects.

From a staff of twelve when we opened, the office has now grown to accommodate a 30-strong multinational group, working together to create a great team spirit. Taking advantage of our location in the Marais, after work on Fridays we often meet up for an aperitif in a local bar, a private view at one of the surrounding galleries and occasionally an evening of bowling or games.
